Salty Sundays

Salty Sundays is a pop-up party located in the stunning Napa Valley (and beyond), hosted by husband and wife team Tamer Hamawi and Blaire Carson Scheibal. Every experience is creatively curated to each individual venue, with the intention of bringing locals and visitors together in new and unique locations to dance, play and connect. Combining artful and whimsical décor with entertaining and memorable surprise elements, Salty Sundays is quickly gaining momentum and has been described as Napa Valley’s premier dance party.

Originally launched at their former Napa restaurant Gran Electrica, Salty Sundays was created in 2019 as a summertime event to give the Napa community a much needed Sunday day party. With the name inspired by their famous salt-rimmed Margaritas, and the slight saltiness we all feel after a long weekend, Salty Sundays was born and quickly gained popularity. Due to the post-Covid staffing crisis, restaurant operations became unsustainable and sadly the decision to close Gran Electrica was made. However, Blaire and Tamer felt encouraged to keep the party going and their pop-up concept was brought to life in July of 2022.

Tamer, along with rotating resident DJ’s, play cutting edge deep melodic and organic tech / house music, among other styles, creating an electronic music dance environment that otherwise does not exist in the valley.

A Salty event can be on any day of the week and can range from 150-350 guests (depending on the venues capacity), they draw a sophisticated party crowd of local and bay area professionals and the age demographic lands between 30 to 60 years old. With folks hungry for an outlet for music, dance and connection - Salty Sundays fosters a dynamic combination of mature positive energy and genuine good vibes.
